On 26 June 2025, Ida Musiałkowska,PUEB Professor, spoke at a public hearing entitled "Two Decades of Progress: Evaluating the Successes and Lessons in Implementing the EU Budget from the Enlargements
since 2004" organised by the European Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control. The presentation and discussion addressed issues such as economic changes in the new Member States, the effects of EU membership and the results of budget transfers, benefits and further challenges.
